My name is Dory Rockcastle, and I have worked @ StarShine Academy for 4 years. I have always enjoyed working with children, and helping the less fortunate. My passion in life is being able to make a difference in a childs life. My position at the school is receptionist and office assistant, as well as helping the teachers in their class-rooms when-ever needed. I believe that in order to help the children of today, you must connect with a child rather than convincing a child when you are trying to teach them something new. Being @ StarShine Academy has shown me that the words of a child can easily change the out-come of someones day. I hope one day, that the children of the world will have a chance to experience “The StarShine Effect.”
